Hilton Worldwide has expanded its DoubleTree by Hilton brand in Indonesia and Turkey. The DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir – Alsancak is the first in the Turkish city and the DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro marks the brand’s debut in Indonesia.

The 115-room DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir – Alsancak recently underwent a refurbishment program and boasts a rooftop pool and bar. The hotel also offers four meeting rooms, a spa, and a ballroom.
“Turkey is growing as a global holiday and business destination, attracting more than 34 million visitors in 2013 alone,” says Simon Vincent, president of Europe, the Middle East, and Asia for Hilton Worldwide. “In addition to its numerous tourist attractions, Izmir’s thriving commercial center plays a vital role in the country’s economy, and there is robust demand for quality meetings and entertainment space. DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir – Alsancak is an elegant addition to the city’s hotel market.”
Set in the heart of Jakarta, the new-build, upscale 253- DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro opens with three dining outlets, including one modern all-day dining restaurant, as well as seven meeting and event rooms. The 800-person capacity Makara ballroom is pillar-less and features a high ceiling, dedicated porte-cochere, and a naturally lit foyer that leads to the outdoor garden.

“The opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro marks the addition of our third brand to our portfolio in Indonesia,” says Martin Rinck, president of Asia Pacific for Hilton Worldwide. “The development of our portfolio within this market has been gaining momentum in recent months and we continue to be committed to expanding our footprint in Indonesia.”
