Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement for the Hilton Erbil Hotel & Spa in Northern Iraq. The hotel will be Hilton’s second in the region following the 2011 signing of a DoubleTree Suites, also in Erbil. The new hotel will offer 300 guestrooms, including 30 suites and a further 10 chalets featuring a large health club, outdoor and indoor pools, and an upscale retail arcade.
Guests will have access to six F&B venues: two specialty restaurants, an all-day dining area, a destination bar, lobby lounge, and pool bar. Event facilities will encompass five meeting rooms, two boardrooms, and a ballroom that can seat up to 1,000. The hotel is on track to open in 2016.
