Home2 Suites by Hilton, the company’s new mid-tier extended stay concept, has made its brand debut Fayetteville, North Carolina. Serving as the hub for the 119-key property is the Oasis, a community space that includes communal and individual work zones and a 52-inch flatscreen TV.
Guest suites feature a “working wall” that incorporates a fully equipped kitchen and flexible working space connecting separate living and bedroom zones. Amenities encompass Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, an integrated guest laundry and fitness room, a saline pool, patios with grills, outdoor seating areas, and a walking/jogging trail.
Also informing the brand is a series of eco-sensitive practices: hotel-wide recycling, low-flow showers and faucets, biodegradable food trays, CFLs, dual flush toilets, recycled flooring, Energy Star appliances, and carpet and surfaces made from recycled product and other sustainable product selections. Home2 Suites is also rolling out Hilton’s LightStay system, which measures energy and water use and waste and carbon output at Hilton Worldwide properties around the globe.
As part of the hotel’s grand opening, Home2 Suites announced a charitable gift to Fisher House, a local nonprofit that provides a home away from home for military families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease, or injury. The brand is updating all guestrooms at Fisher House with new bed frames, box springs, and mattresses, as well as new bedding, blankets, iHome clock radios, bath towels, bath mats, wash cloths, and a variety of toiletries. The truckload of items is valued at approximately $20,000.
