Thanks to its use of genuine clay brick, the Historic Park Inn Hotel in Mason City, Iowa, is a gold winner in the 2012 Brick in Architecture Awards. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1910, the boutique property features a number of sustainable elements such as energy recovery units, radiant floor heat, and insulation made from recycled denim. In addition, building materials were salvaged and reused.
