Home2 Suites by Hilton, the hotelier’s new affordable extended-stay concept, has broken ground in North Charleston, South Carolina. The 122-suite hotel’s centerpiece will be the Oasis, a 4,200- square-foot community space with communal and individual work zones, as well as a 52-inch flatscreen TV. Guestrooms feature a “working wall” that incorporates the fully accessorized kitchen and flexible working space connecting separate living and bedroom zones. Furniture pieces are designed to move around, allowing guests to create customized living spaces and adjustable storage options. Other highlights of the Home2 Suites brand include the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, an integrated guest laundry and fitness room, saline pool, patios with grills, outdoor seating areas, and an exercise trail.
