Home2 Suites by Hilton signed on six hotels in Q1, with 60 franchise applications approved as of March 31. Locations of the mid-tier, extended stay brand include Mobile, Alabama; Amarillo, Texas; Hot Springs, Arkansas; Alexandria, Louisiana; D’Iberville, Mississippi; and Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. On average, Home2 Suites properties will comprise 90 percent studios and 10 percent one-bedroom suites, at 323 and 509 square feet, respectively. Brand details include:
- "Oasis," an expanded living zone with community tables, individual work zones, market, integrated guest laundry, and fitness room
- Amenities and services such as a daily complimentary continental breakfast, walking trail, saline pool, outdoor living rooms, and grills
- An innovative guestroom design that features a "working wall," a series of modular millwork pieces that serve as workspace, closet, and storage
- Sustainable design that, without impacting operational costs, enhances the guest experience with amenities such as EPA Water Sense plumbing fixtures by Kohler, tamper-proof bulk shower dispensers, dual-flush toilets, and recycled carpet tile flooring
