Baywood Hotels will develop, own, and operate a new Home2Suites by Hilton in San Antonio, scheduled to open next year. The 120-key mid-tier extended stay hotel will occupy the Central Trust Company Building, a Beaux Arts-style structure built in 1919. Suites will be equipped with separate living and bedroom areas, a fully accessorized kitchen, flexible work space with a movable desk, flatscreen TV, sofa/sleeper, and adaptable storage options. Amenities will include the Oasis, a community space that features communal and individual work zones; an indoor saline pool; and a market for grab-and-go items.
The brand also incorporates eco-friendly features, such as hotel-wide recycling, low-flow showers and faucets, biodegradable food trays, CFLs, dual-flush toilets, recycled flooring, Energy Star appliances, and carpet/surfaces made from recycled product.
