The 29-room Hotel Brexton is slated to reopen in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. Designed by Kann Partners and built by HOD Contractors, the 129-year-old hotel had fallen into disarray and stood vacant for years. In the early 20th century, the property was the family home of Wallis Simpson, the wife of the Duke of Windsor.
