InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) will open Hotel Indigo Madrid – Gran Via in Spain’s capital this month. The hotel will be the boutique brand’s second property in Spain, joining Hotel Indigo Barcelona.
Hotel Indigo Madrid – Gran Via’s 85 individually designed rooms take inspiration from the history of the local area with unique accents and design features. Murals are visible throughout the property, showcasing well-known sites on Gran Via-Madrid’s major shopping and entertainment street. Furniture and interiors draw on eclectic architectural influences.

Tom Rowntree, IHG’s chief development officer, says, “With a further 15 in the pipeline in Europe, the Hotel Indigo brand is experiencing considerable growth. This newest addition to the brand truly encapsulates the style and charm of Madrid, a chic cosmopolitan city for guests to enjoy both inside and out.
