Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square will open this fall in Toronto as the brand’s second location in the city and fifth in Canada. Housed in a glimmering glass-and-metal façade, the 167-room boutique property features the work of LeMay Michaud Architecture Design.
In the main lobby, natural ash wood combined with crystallized glass creates a distinctive reception area, while leather-clad columns and metallic tile flooring are lit by a dramatic window wall. An elliptical glass column rising through the property’s core anchors guest corridors. Guestroom details include ergonomic workspaces, glass-enclosed rainfall showers, and Frette linens. The hotel also will feature 4,600 square feet of meeting and event space, as well as green features such as low-E windows, dual flush toilets, and hot water heating from HVAC heat rejection.
