Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco Denver has redesigned it lobby and meeting spaces, the final phase in the hotel’s renovation. Interior designer Susan Caruso, who also revamped the guestrooms, implemented a “Rugged Cowboy Meets City Slicker” theme, drawing inspiration from the hotel’s location, situated in the historic center of a modern city.
The lobby boasts bronze, iron, and rustic metal fixtures, along with dark wood furnishings and local artwork commissioned to complement the decorative ceiling. Downstairs in the meeting spaces, plush carpeting carries guests toward a pair of backlit photographs flanking the foyer and depicting Denver during a bygone era. The upgraded ballroom and meeting rooms showcase glowing copper and cream walls, graceful sconces, and silky fabric drum pendants. In addition, the refurbished Wine Cellar features modern fixtures and fabrics, as well as a stacked stone wine display and exposed brick walls.
