Marriott International’s Autograph Collection has expanded with the Hotel Punta Islita in Costa Rica. With this opening, the collection has reached 50 hotels in 13 countries in less than three years.

The hotel sanctuary specializes in sustainable tourism and programs including reforestation, animal protection, and water conservation. To help alleviate poverty, local residents comprise more than 85 percent of the hotel’s staff.
