Consisting of low buildings grouped around a spacious central pool area, the 37-room Hotel Sezz Saint-Tropez has opened. Architect Jean Jacques Ory and designer Christophe Pillet have taken inspiration from the property’s surroundings: calm breezes, Mediterranean light, the deep blue sea, lush green grass, and fields of fragrant lavender. Massive walls made out of oversized windows bring balance to stone accents and roof tiles. Pillet integrated a mix of white, light gray, dark brown, light blue, and saffron into the hotel’s bungalows and villas. In addition, chef Pierre Gagnaire heads up signature restaurant Colette.
