Overseen by Dallas-based Flick-Mars, the design will incorporate bold colors, textured fabrics, and natural materials reflective of the property’s indigenous surroundings. “Hotel Derek’s design and ambiance will reflect a sense of southern hospitality with an edge,” says general manager Shawn Gracey. “The new Hotel Derek will reflect a Texas-chic look and feel with very unique touch points and experiences for our guests.”
