The American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD) has honored Hubbardton Forge with a Pinnacle Award for Design Achievement in Lighting. The manufacturer received the accolade for its 2010 Antasia table and floor lamps.
Designed and manufactured by Vermont artisans, Antasia designs feature a whimsical play of materials with substantial wrought iron elements hand-forged and twisted into a sculpture-like element. “We admire the terrific scale and versatility of this lighting collection from Hubbardton Forge, which is equally suitable in a masculine or feminine decorating setting,” the award judges say. “The ample texture is perfectly paired with smart shade choices.”
