Hyatt Hotels says that its affiliates have signed management agreements for nine new hotels in India, bringing the company’s pipeline here to 38. The agreements call for three brands: Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and Hyatt Place. In addition, Hyatt announced two new hotels set to debut in India this year.
The 329-room Hyatt Regency Chennai (left), opening in May, has five restaurants and lounge bars, a spa, outdoor pool, fitness center, and 16,000 square feet of function space. Meanwhile, Grand Hyatt Goa is spread across 19 acres of tropical gardens overlooking the Zuari River. The resort has 314 guestrooms, including the Grand Club and three presidential villas; a spa with 20 treatment rooms; large conference facilities; and indoor and outdoor dining options.
