Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villas and Spa in Indian Wells, California, near Palm Springs has embarked on a $1 million of its lobby. MSM Group of Dallas will oversee the project, which calls for a palette of rich red and plum hues contrasting with steel-colored tones, modular seating, a 20-foot art glass chandelier, and a new check-in experience.
The redesign of the lobby marks the third phase of renovations at the resort. In 2008, the hotel’s restaurant underwent a redesign and re-concept, while 25 private villas were expanded. Two years later, the resort transformed its 26 penthouse suites and Agave Sunset, the lobby bar.
