Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles is spending $1 million to upgrade its Plaza Level, which includes 12,000 square feet of meeting space and two Junior Ballrooms that can be divided into four distinct venues. The new look, courtesy of Design 360 with incorporate plush carpeting in warm tones of rich brown, gold, and burnt orange, as well as a lighting package that includes individual controls in each room, four custom chandeliers, and wall sconces. Additionally, the pre-function areas will have new sofas, wing chairs, and lounge seating arrangements.
In addition, Kay Lang + Associates has completed the second phase of Hyatt Regency Century Plaza’s renovation. The Executive Conference Center, formerly the South Mezzanine, has been redesigned to accommodate small meetings of up to 100 people. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame eight meeting rooms outfitted with new carpeting, window treatments, light fixtures, and wood accent finishes. The renovated mezzanine level also offers Aeron and ergonomic banquet chairs, wood finished boardroom style conference tables, and an on-site business center.
