Located in a 19-story tower at the tip of Media Harbour’s peninsula, Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf has opened its doors. Dutch interior design firm FG stijl used warm colors, glass, and plenty of natural light to create the hotel’s distinctive appearance. The 290 guestrooms and 13 suites are highlighted by large bathrooms, including rain showers and bath tubs; guests can also choose from Regency Club accommodations on the 18th floor, which includes a dedicated concierge and a private lounge.
The hotel features five F&B options: DOX, featuring an open kitchen, sushi bar, and views of the Rhine River; DOX Bar, connecting the hotel lobby with the restaurant; the Lounge; Café D; and Pebble’s, a champagne bar opening in February. Also opening in February is Rive Spa, home to five treatment rooms, a Vichy shower, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, and an open-air terrace. Meanwhile, a water-flooded glass ceiling serves as the design hallmark for the hotel’s 9,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
