Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, Resort, Spa and Casino has launched a $20 million renovation. Overseen by CCS Architecture, the project calls for a “grand lodge” look. The hotel’s 422 guestrooms and suites will incorporate a warm and inviting ambiance, thanks to an oak floating headboard, credenzas and nightstands with touches of brushed steel and dark leather, carpeting in shades of slate gray and mocha, and locally themed artwork.
Meanwhile, all-day-dining venue Sierra Café will showcase oak tables, leather seating, a chef’s table, and a large fireplace constructed with stone and rich woods reflective of the verdant forest and mountainside. The Spa Terrace Conference Center is also scheduled for a refurbishment, with a warm color palette, new carpeting, wallcoverings, and credenzas.
