Hyatt has signed management agreements for its first two branded hotels in Mongolia. Adjacent to the Dund River in the country’s capital city, the 259-key Hyatt Regency Ulaanbaatar will feature two specialty restaurants, a tea room, sky bar and lobby, and expansive meeting space when it opens in 2014. In addition, Hyatt Regency Ulaanbaatar Turtle Rock, located in a national park 25 miles from the city center, will have 131 guestrooms and suites, 30 traditional Mongolian Gers (yurts), nearly 97,000 square feet of function space, a spa, fitness center, and indoor pool. The hotel debuts in 2015.
