Hyatt Hotels Corporation is reflagging Avia hotels in Napa, California, and Savannah, Georgia, as Andaz properties. The 141-room Andaz Napa will undergo renovations courtesy of design firm Bishop Pass. Guestrooms will bring the outdoors in, thanks to an earthy color palette complementing the surrounding landscape, while bathrooms will showcase white marble and walk-in showers. The makeover of the hotel’s lobby to a lounge will pay tribute to the local area, and the signature restaurant and bar will have a “Napa-to-table” philosophy. Guests also will have access to meeting space for up to 130, a 24-hour fitness center, and rotating art gallery.
At Andaz Savannah, local firm Gonzalez Architects will oversee upgrades. Contemporary furnishings and modern baths will define the 151 guestrooms, while the restaurant will offer a market-to-table menu. Other amenities will include 2,675 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, and rotating art gallery.
