Hyatt Hotels Corporation and HHM have announced that the Hyatt Union Square New York is slated for opening in April. Located at 13th Street and Fourth Avenue, the new hotel has planned a modern design with a classic style.
Featuring 178 urban style guestrooms, the building’s rooms include loft-style studios and presidential suites. The 954-square-foot Sanctuary suite offers a landscaped terrace overlooking the 13th Street and Fourth Avenue corner, while the Empyreal suite features floor-to-ceiling windows and neighborhood views.
A historic façade outlines the entrance along with a 23-ft. high entryway ceiling in the lobby. Designed by Edgewater, New Jersey-based Paul Vega of VLDG Inc., the lobby contains custom-made contemporary furnishings reflecting New York life.

The Hyatt Union Square New York also offers new restaurants by One Five Hospitality Group, including the hotel’s signature restaurant, the Fourth. An all-day American brasserie, it will serve traditional brasserie fare with an American interpretation. Singl Lounge will also offer an extensive single malt scotch selection and single vineyard wine by the glass selection.
