Spanish hospitality company IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio in the Mediterranean. Key projects include:
IBEROSTAR Royal Cupido: Located in Mallorca, Spain’s Playa de Palma, the 168-room adults-only hotel has been redesigned with modern and chic décor. Offerings include a 4,305 square-feet Zen Space Spa, a main restaurant offering international cuisine, snack bar, pool terrace, and modern chill out bar.
IBEROSTAR Club Cala Barca: The company invested $24 million into its largest hotel in Mallorca to renovate the property’s 651 guestrooms, reception and leisure areas, and parks.
IBEROSTAR Marbella Coral Beach: The newly acquired Spanish property, located on the coast of Costa del Sol, combines exquisite Arabian and Spanish design influences and offers breathtaking views of the sea, hotel gardens, and swimming pool. The 170-room hotel offers authentic Spanish restaurants and bars, a wellness center and gym, and meeting rooms. The property is set to close in the fall and undergo an extensive remodeling project, with a grand reopening scheduled for April 2011.
IBEROSTAR Diar El Andalous: The newly opened hotel is located in Port El Kantaoui, in the heart of Sousse, Tunisia. In addition to offering a wide range of national and international cuisine from its numerous restaurants, the 4-Star, 371-room property provides guests with a spa and comprehensive program of activities and entertainment.
IBEROSTAR Royal El Mansour: Close to the Mahdia, Tunisia, city center, the newly built 5-Star hotel opened in June with 377 rooms, 56 suites, spectacular water views, direct beach access, a program for families and children, extensive dining options, and spa and gym.
