InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) will develop its first hotel in Laos, the 200-room Crowne Plaza Vientiane in the capital city. The company also has signed an agreement for Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Resort, located on the Vietnamese southern resort island. The hotel will have 400 guestrooms (including 95 residences and five villas) and a private beachfront. Both properties are scheduled to open in 2015.
