IHG has signed an agreement to manage a 280-key InterContinental hotel in Cartagena, Colombia. It will be the hotelier’s sixth branded property in the country. Scheduled to open in early 2013, the hotel will anchor a mixed-used development that includes a casino, upscale retail shops, movie theaters, and restaurants. InterContinental’s amenities will include more than 16,000 square feet of meeting space, a spa, fitness center, and various restaurants and bars.
