InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) Holiday Inn Brand is set to expand further in Spain with the Holiday Inn Madrid – Las Tablas. Following the conversion and renovation of an existing hotel, the 133-room hotel will open at the beginning of Q3 of this year.
Upon completion, the refurbished hotelset in the new business district of Las Tablas⎯⎯will attract domestic and international business travelers. The location also boasts a close proximity to the Ifema Madrid exhibition grounds and Barajas International Airport.
Says Hylko Versteeg, IHG’s director of development for Spain: “The hotel is situated in an area of important economic growth for Madrid and the Holiday Inn branding together with a very nice renovation, will put the property on the map as a contemporary, comfortable, and service-friendly Holiday Inn.”
IHG has 36 hotels open in Spain30 of which are either Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express hotels.
