Indigo Beach Club Comes to El Taj Oceanfront

Mexican architect Sergio Segura and Italian restaurateur Andrea Bastogi have teamed up to open the Indigo Beach Club and Restaurant at El Taj Oceanfront hotel-condo is Playa del Carmen. Showcasing light-colored décor that is embellished with different-colored glasses and pillows, the outlet repeats Segura’s design of the hotel, with its white curves and Bali-inspired details. The architect is known for basing his work on the ancient philosophy of Mayans and creating environments that harmoniously blend in with the nature. For the hotel, Segura selected thatched natural rooftops and water fountains, along with local materials such as wood, stone, palm tree roofs, and plenty of wild vegetation.
