InterContinental Tangshan has opened as the first international 5-Star hotel in the Chinese city. Starting at 450 square feet, the property’s 285 guestrooms are outfitted with LCD televisions, iPod and iPhone base stations, comfortable working areas, and spacious bathrooms with separate showers and tubs. Guests also can access suites and the club floor. The hotel also places a premium on meeting space, highlighted by a pillar-less 13,000-square-foot ballroom and eight multi-function rooms filled with daylight. Dining options include Imperial Court, Tang Yuan Chinese Restaurant, and Phoenix All-Day Dining.
