IHG has signed the InterContinental Phuket Rawai Beach Resort, the first for the brand in Phuket. Architect Bill Bensley will design the property, a redevelopment of the Evason Phuket and Bon Island. Bensley also designed the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Vietnam. The new resort’s centerpiece will be nearly 2 million square feet of landscaped tropical gardens facing the Andaman Sea.
