The facility housing InterfaceServices has earned LEED-CI Gold Certification.

Roswell, Georgia-based Randall-Paulson Architects completed the corporate campus build, while Atlanta-based consultant Morrison-Hershfield oversaw sustainability efforts. The interior includes 6,636 square feet of office space plus a 26,977-square-foot warehouse.
Earning innovation credits on the LEED scorecard, the InterfaceServices facility regulates and monitors power usage, HVAC, lighting, and plug load. Motion sensors control both lighting and temperature. The abundance of natural lighting⎯⎯implemented through open workspaces and glass front offices⎯⎯has reduced lighting power by 30 percent.
In achieving Gold level LEED-CI certification, the facility now boasts a 40 percent reduction of water use; low VOC paint adhesives, sealants, flooring and furniture; and 98.3 percent Energy Star Qualified equipment. Interface has also engaged green pest control measures, a green cleaning policy, and the purchase of green power. In building the facility, 75 percent of the construction waste was diverted from landfills and more than 20 percent of the building materials were from recycled content.
