Great Hotels of the World’s International Hotel Casino & Tower Suites has reopened following a two-year redevelopment. Located in the Golden Sands Resort in Varna, Bulgaria, the hotel now boasts a restructured architecture and enhancements to its public spaces and casino.
Los Angeles-based architect Pavel Ivanov led the redesign⎯⎯implementing a spa and an infinity-edge rooftop swimming pool and terrace as well as the High Limit restaurant and 21 Bar. An exhibition space in the conference lobby, a multifunctional 600-capacity, theater-style ballroom, and seven additional meeting rooms will also be completed in the fall. An amphitheater with 450 seats and a stage will open for events in April 2014.
Establishing the biggest live-game casino in Bulgaria, the hotel’s casino has undergone major refurbishment and expansion with a new design and 24-hour operation. A shopping center completes the hotel’s upgraded facilities.
