The International Society of Hospitality Purchasers (ISHP) presented its first ever Vendor Quality Awards (VQA) at the ISHP Annual Fundraiser to support Hollywood Heart. 


The annual VQA or “Vicki” was created by ISHP to honor the best vendors in the hospitality industry. This year’s Vickis went to P/Kaufmann Contract, Royal Custom Designs, and Valley Forge Fabrics. According to ISHP past president Mitchell Parker, “ISHP is a group of leading hospitality procurement professionals who spend hundreds of millions of dollars annually on behalf of our clients. We know which vendors perform consistently and we wanted to honor the best in the business.” 


The VQA criteria for selection require a nomination from an ISHP member and include the following standards of performance: the vendor has provided a consistent quality product meeting hospitality standards and excellent communication and customer service throughout the purchasing process; the vendor has consistently delivered on time; and the vendor has dedicated senior management.
