The Bentley Hotel in Istanbul celebrates its 10th anniversary with a renovation that maintains the sleek charm of the original design, courtesy of architects Piero Lissoni and Nicoletta Canesi. Representative of the city’s unique location between Europe and Asia, the property’s makeover takes an oriental spin on Milanese design. Clean lines and subtle colors are at the forefront. In contrast to the jumbled, pulsating vibe of Istanbul, the pale red, beige, green, and gray hues employed throughout the hotel establish a transparent, light-flooded retreat. Wide windows flood guestrooms with natural light, adding depth to the interiors and allowing guests to feel the vitality of the city outside.
