The Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff Johannesburg is set to open this December.
Set among eight acres of gardens, the Westcliff was originally conceived as an enclave for exclusive clientele when it opened in the late 1990s. Designed by locally based RSL Architects and Jacket Interiors, the former grande dame boasts a modern South African aesthetic reflective of its home city.
With 117 guestrooms and suites scattered through nine low-rise buildings, the hotel has a residential feel but retains a close connection to the city with its modern African artwork. Amenities include a spa, two swimming pools, 15,683 square feet of event spaces, and five restaurants.
The hotel’s showpiece restaurant will be View. Flames restaurant will also have an expansive terrace, while Cellar Door will offer an intimate venue for wine tastings. Westcliff Deli and Apres-Spa round out the F&B outlets.
