Jacki Arena Interiors has finished renovation work on two South Florida hotels. The 174-room Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport is influenced by the nearby Cruise Port. New and redesigned spaces, outfitted in fresh blue and warm reds, include guestrooms and the Bistro “Eat. Drink. Connect.” Experience.
Meanwhile, the 196-room Courtyard Miami Coconut Grove completed its conversion from a Doubletree in December 2010. Jacki Arena let the hotel’s rich past guide the design, with artwork depicting Clipper planes and the original PanAm Terminal located across Biscayne Bay. The designer selected a palette of deep chocolate, lime green, and cool blue accented by vibrant orange to mimic the lush surroundings and spirit of Coconut Grove.
