Yes Hotels Turkey, led by architect Yalcin Saglikova, spent just 150 days converting a textile atelier to the Jazz Hotel within Istanbul’s Nisantasi district, where the 12 guestrooms are named after world famous jazz artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Music instruments and accessories set the tone in the jazzy tone in the lobby, while original LPs of each musician adorn guestroom doors, which open to spaces adorned with prints and posters of the artists, along with their corresponding music.
