John Campbell, general manager of La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, has been inducted as the 2011 chair of AH&LA. He has served on the organization’s board of directors for numerous years and received the prestigious AH&LA Lawson A. Odde Award for his outstanding contributions by a board member. He has chaired the association’s Audit and Certification committee and is a current member of the Governmental Affairs and Resort committees. In addition, Campbell is a past president of the California Hotel & Lodging Association and of the California Restaurant Association San Diego. He is also a past member of the board of directors of the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau and former director of the San Diego Hotel & Motel Association.
