The Steigenberger Hotel Bremen has opened as the 83rd member of the Steigenberger Hotel Group and its 15th property in the North German region.
With interiors designed by Hamburg, Germany-based JOI-Design (with architecture by Berlin-based Eike Becker Architects), the hotel’s 137 rooms and four suites take cues from the maritime atmosphere of Bremen. The traditional flair of a port city and modern influence come together in the copper wall paneling, wave motifs in the carpets, and rust red decorative cushions.
The Blaufeuer restaurant allows for unrestricted views of the river with floor-length panoramic windows. The standout feature is a 3,175-square-foot terrace set directly on the banks of the Weser.
“Bremen is an interesting and important market for us and picking up significantly with its high power of attraction and rising demand in overnight stays,” says Puneet Chhatwal, CEO of Steigenberger Hotels AG. “The new Steigenberger Hotel is the first and only Deluxe Establishment in the Überseestadt District. We are delighted to be able to launch such a high-quality hotel project”.
