Joie de Vivre Hotels is now managing California’s Carmel Valley Ranch following a renovation that transformed existing facilities while adding new ones such as a 10,500-square-foot spa. Geolo Capital-which acquired a controlling interest in Joie de Vivre last year-bought the resort in June 2009 and was actively engaged in its re-imagination.
