Plans are in the works for the beachfront JW Marriott Hotel Aqaba in Jordan, slated to open in 2013. The 264-room luxury hotel, sited on the northern beach of the Gulf of Aqaba, will encompass a wide range of F&B concepts, including an informal vibrant lobby lounge, pool bar with covered terrace, all-day casual restaurant, specialty steakhouse, and a sports bar. A state-of-the-art health and leisure club will incorporate a spa and a gymnasium featuring a yoga room, Turkish bath, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and a children’s play center. Plans also call for an executive lounge, business center, and retail outlets.
