JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California, has unveiled a new restaurant and bar. Featuring an outdoor terrace with firepits, Rockwood Grill underwent a complete overhaul to include an illuminated bar activating the double-height atrium. The double-height atrium also plays a role in the adjacent Blue Star Lounge, where a serpentine communal table anchors one end of the bar as guests spill out onto the newly renovated garden terrace.
The new bar and restaurant are the latest upgrades to the resort, which has overhauled its 884 guestrooms and suites, as well as added new retail outlets and a restaurant called Fisherman’s Landing.
