The first phase of JW Marriott Marquis Dubai has been completed and is open to guests. The hotel has unveiled its first tower of 804 guestrooms and suites, along with three of nine restaurants.
Rising 1,164 feet, the property is the tallest dedicated hotel building in the world. Targeting business travelers and the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) market, the hotel features nearly 55,000 square feet of function space. Guests also have access to the expansive Saray Spa, inspired by the caravanserai silk route across Arabia, as well as a large pool with a deck featuring cabanas, lounges, and umbrellas.
The 1,608-room hotel’s nine restaurants and five lounges and entertainment spaces include:
- The Vault lounge on the 71st and 72nd floors with panoramic city views
- A late-night music venue
- Prime 68, a steakhouse
- Atul Kochhar’s Rang Mahal Indian restaurant
- An Arabic dining outlet
- Positano, serving Italian cuisine
- La Farine, a boulangerie (bakery)
