Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has taken over management of Hotel La Jolla. The 108-key property has recently undergone renovations to its guestrooms and will receive upgrades to the restaurant, reception, lobby, and outdoor pool areas by early 2012.
Specifically, the restaurant will be relocated from the 11th floor to the first floor for easy access and will offer outdoor seating. In addition, the main level of the hotel will be remodeled to include a reception area and living room with a lobby bar adjacent to the swimming pool and poolside cabanas.
