Move over, Burj Khalifa. Kingdom Holding Company has signed a contract to start construction on the world’s tallest building in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Slated to rise 3,280 feet, Kingdom Tower would house a Four Seasons hotel and serviced apartments, luxury condominiums, and first-class office space. An interdisciplinary team led by Chicago-based Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture created the design of the Kingdom Tower. The building will be part of Kingdom City, whose master plan is being designed by HOK Architects.
