Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has announced the opening of Le Méridien Atlanta Perimeter. Marking the first Le Méridien in the Atlanta metropolitan area, the hotel is one of nine Le Méridien hotels slated to open in the next year.

Following a $20 million renovation, the 275-room Le Méridien Atlanta Perimeter boasts an outdoor pool, fitness center, and 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The lounge, Longitude 84, offers a selection of cocktails, coffees, and fine wines in a brightly lit space. Slated to open this spring, the hotel’s ground-floor restaurant, Portico, will serve globally inspired cuisine on an open terrace.

“The inspiring design featured throughout the spacious guestrooms and public areas, the newly created club lounge, and the addition of a new restaurant with an expansive patio complete the transformation of this property,” says Jim Merkel, president and CEO of RockBridge, the owner of Le Méridien Atlanta Perimeter.

Designed by Le Méridien brand’s cultural curator, Jérôme Sans, the hotel entryway features contemporary artwork in cool, neutral tones. The design continues in the lobby and restaurant spaces with striking geometric structures and lighting fixtures.
