Landry’s Inc., parent company of the Golden Nugget Las Vegas and Laughlin, has acquired the Trump Marina Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. An extensive renovation will transform the property into the Golden Nugget. The project, which is already underway, will include improvements to the building façade, the Chart House restaurant, two new temporary bars and lounges with live entertainment, and four completely updated model guest rooms.
Soon to come: Rush Lounge and a new After Hours Bar to complement the poker room; race book; keno room; spa; renovated showroom complete with theater style seating; the Red Room nightclub, opening Memorial Day weekend; and H2O Pool and Ultra Lounge, featuring all-season hot tubs and firepits.
All improvements are expected to be completed by late fall.
