Langham Hotels International has signed on to operate a 488-room property being built adjacent to the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. The hotel, scheduled to open in three years, will feature interiors by Yabu Pushelberg.
The design calls for large meeting spaces, including a 33,000-square foot “great room,” while F&B concepts include a signature Cantonese restaurant spanning two floors with 13 private rooms; an interactive international restaurant with a sense of theater; and a lifestyle restaurant and bar built above the lobby atrium. Guests will also have access to Chuan Spa and a semi-indoor pool with a retractable roof.
