Hilton Worldwide will terminate its franchise agreement with the Las Vegas Hilton by the end of 2011, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We have been in discussions with other major hotel brands and may re-engage with Hilton in the coming months regarding a new franchise agreement,” Owen Blicksilver, a spokesman for the Las Vegas Hilton, tells the newspaper. “We expect to announce an affiliation with a major hotel chain before year’s end.”
The historic hotel has more than 3,200 guestrooms and suites, as well as 12 restaurants.
