The Leela Palace Kempinski New Delhi has introduced its new ESPA, designed by Jeffrey Wilkes of LTW Design Works. The soothing 6,500-square-foot spa, spread across two levels, is outfitted in natural wood, hand-carved indigenous stone, and Indian tussah silk. Indian rosewood lines the walls, the floors are laid with white Pokarna granite, and ceilings are carved white Makarana marble and hand-embellished with silver leaf. The palette of purple and chartreuse has its origins in Ayurveda, India’s ancient art of healing. The spa also features a café, fitness center, separate relaxation areas for men and women, and sauna and steam rooms.
